Vegas, BaBy!

Ohhhh Vegas, what a crazy place you are. It truly is the city that never sleeps. Tyler and I went last year for my birthday and we had a fabulous time! Whenever we were in college, we used to go to Lake Charles after class because it was around only a 2 hour drive. We would hit up some of their casinos and just have a grand 'ole time. With that being said, I was really looking forward to our trip to Vegas to see the "real" casinos. We stayed at Planet Hollywood on the strip for 5 days. Everyone thought we were wackos for staying that long but we really like to get out and explore every place we visit. There was not one casino that we didn't at least pop in (for the free booze, of course!). Okay maybe there was one or two off the strip, but who's counting?

We almost missed our flight...you know...the people running through the airport rushing to make it to the plane...that was us. The line at security was quite long so it wasn't even our fault. BUT, we made it! Except one small little teeny tiny detail, we had to sit separately. Ugh. Luckily we were only a row apart, but still. It made for some funny laughs!
We loooved Planet Hollywood! They had the best music and the Pleasure Pit was definitely a site to see! Even though we explored all the other casinos, we had the most fun at ours.
Every room is unique with a movie theme...get it...Planet HOLLYWOOD...ours was "Little Buddha". I guess that's better than having "Saw" or "The Ring".

You know you have finally made it to Vegas when...

You find a Statue of Liberty made out of jelly beans.

You get to hang out with Roman gods.

You are walking around in the streets in the wee hours of the morning with two alcoholic beverages in your hands.

You find yourself in front of a castle at 4am and realize you haven't gone to bed yet.

New York City is behind you and it appears to be quite clean.

The Eiffel Tower is in the distance.

...And you see a Transformer in real life.

But that's all the details I can give because...

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Anyone planning a trip to Vegas this year?
